The Learning Pit Reflection

Image result for the learning pit template

Every once and awhile room 10 does a learning reflection on a subject but we mainly do maths we have to choose an area of maths that we are finding challenging and why and then we decide where we are in the learning pit, The chart above is the same one that we look at in class.

The area of maths that I found challenging this week was problem solving because my buddy and I thought we had the right answer but then realised that we had completely mucked up
I am confused and still near the bottom of the pit

Strike Percussion Reflection

Screenshot 2017-03-22 at 12.34.47 PM.pngThe Percussion team Strike introduced themselves and the got straight into the first rhythm I could see people around me rummaging for their ears the vibration of the drums shook the floor beneath after about 3 minutes strike had finished their first act and went onto their second Raining in a tropical jungle but first we had to make it sound like it was raining I saw people slapping their legs and making sounds from their mouth and it did really sound like it was raining then I could see the mullet started smashing the marimba after a couple of acts strike were down to one of their final acts the lights turned off and then strike started making a sound with fire by spraying the fire with a fuel of some sort we all went quiet and I could hear the sound of the fire being sprayed by the fuel it was like a very quiet drum that was my favourite. After the performance was over I couldn't hear the person next to me for around 5 minutes

Mountain biking

Once or twice a week I go mountain biking in the reserve by my house I think it is a great sport because it get your adrenaline going and keeps you fit but it is very dangerous aswell because there are lots of massive jumps and steep hills you have to go down so there is always a chance of me coming off and badly hurting myself.
Once a month if i’m lucky I go up to the esk valley mtb park and that is way more crazy than the place I usually go there are jumps three times the size of the jumps i’m used, big drops and really skinny tracks that have been cut out of a cliff there is a steep wall on one side and usually a 10-15 metre drop so I guess that track make my reserves track look easy. At the end of the day mountain biking is really cool but dangerous at the same time and i am still waiting for my first crash so i’m not looking forward to it.
