The Making of a Lime and a Banana Battery

We wanted to see how a battery worked, so we put a zinc nail and a piece of copper into a lime and connected it to a voltmeter
1 lime = 0.95 volts
2 limes = 1.96 volts
and 3 limes = 2.9 volts
and the three limes lit up a led light but it was quite dull.

Q - So does it depend on the size of the lime ?  A - No
Q - What if I put more nails and copper in ?     A - You get 3 times the amount of electric current.
Q - Can you use different metals ?                    A - Yes

We also found out that a banana works the same but it has more Voltage which equals 0.979 volts.
